Honestly, some might.

When we talk about external male sexual anatomy, we talk about a penis and two testicles. And there’s not usually a lot of conversation about the fact that a man may be missing one or both testicles.

I don’t know your background and why you have one testicle, but people may have to have a testicle removed for many reasons. Trauma to the testicles could result in one or both being removed. Sometimes it’s removed due to an infection.

One or both testicles may be removed because of cancer.

And some men are just born with one testicle.

Depending on what kinds of sex play you’re engaging in, it may be something that a partner notices. This is because the side of your scrotum where there is no testicle may appear flat.

For those who had to have a testicle removed there may be a period where they notice a decline in their sex drive. But oftentimes that’s temporary. So in terms of functioning, a partner will probably not notice.

The question I would ask you is how do you feel about it? Our body image can have a huge impact on not only how we feel about ourselves, but also how we interact with our partners. So if you feel embarrassed or ashamed, than that will…
